Founded by a Nigerian wife-and-husband team, OJUAMI is the realization of a dream born from personal experience and the desire to make that dream a reality. It is a tribute to our shared heritage and a celebration of timeless, classic style.
Our Beginning
The idea for OJUAMI was sparked in 2017 out of a personal need. At the time, I (the wife and co-founder) dreamed of a world where I could effortlessly order ready-made African-inspired clothing without the long waits or the logistical challenges of tailoring back in Africa. Few online stores offered these options, and even fewer carried the minimalist, elegant designs I longed to wear.
What began as an idea lingered as a spark in my heart for years. In 2025, that dream finally became a reality with the official launch of OJUAMI. Headquartered in New York, we are proud to offer timeless, classy, and versatile pieces designed for refined occasions.
